The Centre for Professional Development and Internationalisation in Schools produces a variety of courses, seminars and conferences for teachers of English at all levels, from pre-school to adult education. In all our activities theory and practice are integrated and we provide a comprehensive language input. The overall purpose is to develop new knowledge, which can be transformed into useful ideas and methods for teaching and learning English in and outside the classroom.
Our activities for teachers of English take place both in Sweden and in English-speaking countries. Some courses include university credits, like Ireland Today 7,5hp (university credit points).
During 2016 we will also offer a tailored course in England for teachers of English to young learners, i.e. pre-school to year 6. The course is produced in cooperation with the University of Warwick and will take place in Warwick and Coventry 20-24 April 2016.
This year we will also once again offer a CAE Trainers Course (Certificate in Advanced English) in cooperation with Bell International in Cambridge. The course takes place 13-17 June 2016 in Cambridge.
